Kitchen and bathroom remodels consistently deliver the highest return on investment of any home improvement project — and they're also the most likely to go sideways when multiple contractors are involved. At Jenkins Design & Build, Dan handles both under a single license, keeping your project on schedule and on budget without the finger-pointing that happens when trades don't communicate.
We cover the full scope of kitchen and bathroom work: full gut remodels down to the studs, as well as targeted upgrades like a new countertop and backsplash or a walk-in shower conversion. That includes cabinetry, countertops, tile selection and installation, plumbing rough-in and finish, electrical rough-in, lighting, and fixture installation. Whatever the project needs, we handle it in-house or coordinate the right subcontractor.
From sleek modern kitchens with quartz islands and custom cabinetry to spa-style master baths with freestanding tubs and frameless glass showers, we build spaces that look exactly like the inspiration photos — and hold up for decades. Serving Pasco, Pinellas, and Hillsborough Counties with permitted, inspected work from start to finish.

FL Contractors — BuildZoom
Semi-custom and custom cabinet installation for kitchens and baths — soft-close hardware, pull-out shelving, and layouts built around how you actually use the space.
Quartz, granite, marble, and porcelain countertops. Tile backsplash installation in any pattern — subway, herringbone, mosaic, or custom layout.
Large-format tile, mosaic accents, heated floor systems, and LVP — installed level and tight, with proper substrate prep that prevents cracking and grout failure.
Curbless shower conversions, frameless glass enclosures, freestanding tubs, and soaking tub installations. Waterproofing done to code every time.
Vanity installation, vessel sinks, undermount sinks, faucet and fixture replacement, medicine cabinets, and lighting upgrades that make the whole room.
We coordinate licensed plumbing and electrical rough-in as part of the project — no separate contractors to schedule, no gaps in the build sequence.
A cosmetic bathroom refresh (vanity, fixtures, tile) can take 1–2 weeks. A full kitchen gut remodel typically runs 4–8 weeks once materials are on-site. Full bathroom remodels with shower conversions and tile work usually take 2–4 weeks. Dan gives you a realistic timeline up front — not an optimistic number that slips.
Yes — and this is one of the biggest advantages of working with Jenkins Design & Build. Dan holds a single CBC license that covers both, so there's no subcontracting across jurisdictions or miscommunication between trades. We can sequence kitchen and bath work intelligently to minimize disruption and total project time.
Both, depending on your budget and the space. We work with semi-custom cabinet lines that give you flexibility without the lead times and cost of full custom. For spaces that require it — odd angles, non-standard dimensions, built-in features — we bring in a custom cabinet maker. Dan will recommend the right approach for your project.
A cosmetic refresh updates what's visible — paint, fixtures, hardware, tile overlay — while keeping the existing layout and plumbing in place. A full remodel goes to the studs: new plumbing, electrical, layout changes, waterproofing, and all finishes. Full remodels cost more but give you the most design freedom and the best long-term result.
Most homeowners stay in place during kitchen remodels. You'll be without a functioning kitchen for the bulk of the project, so plan for takeout and a microwave setup. We contain dust, protect adjacent rooms, and maintain a clean and respectful site daily. For full gut remodels with multiple rooms affected simultaneously, we'll discuss what makes the most sense for your household.
